When something is just right, there’s no room for improvement and it lasts for years. Originally showcased at Shot Show 2018, The Seax Knife's popularity grew within the far reaches of the knife niche of the internet. There aren't many production folding versions of it out in the market, and since we are big on historical weaponry, we wanted to make our mark on an iconic design. WATCH THE VIDEO BELOW.

After many requests for mini versions of the Seax we plan to release the Mini Seax. Add your name to the waitlist to be notified as soon as they are in stock. Available with Black Richlite or Black G-10 handles.

KNIFE ANATOMY

Anatomy of an Emerson Knife

HOW TO USE THE WAVE FEATURE

An important part of knowing the anatomy of an Emerson Knife is knowing how to utilize it. Using the  patented Emerson Wave Feature correctly, you can deploy the knife out of pocket rapidly. It takes some practice to master. See how it's done in the video above.

BLADE STYLE: VIKING SEAX

The Seax Blade follows a straight or slightly curved edge right out from the choil to the point which is below the center line. Sometimes referred to as a Wharncliffe.

Standoff Spacers have been standard on all Emerson Knife models since 2014. Any knife ordered from our site from that year will receive one of these models.

Anatomy of an Emerson Knife Lanyard

Lanyard Holes serve one purpose: attaching a paracord lanyard if you choose to get one. We get asked that question quite a lot!

The Thumb Button is there so that you may open the knife single handedly . Specifically with your thumb. Some people are naturals at it and some have to learn. Either way, it's very useful.

Outstanding knife! I own the full size and wanted something with the same blade and this fit the bill. My favorite Emerson so far and this is my 11th one. Keep the the great work I just ordered the sheep dog.

I just received mine a couple hours ago and absolutely love it, I can't put it down. I have a pretty large collection of higher end knives and this 1 is amazing you really can't appreciate it until you have it in your hand. Lately I've preferred carrying/buying 3″ or so blades vs the standard 4″ or greater so the mini size is perfect to me. For comparison next to my spyderco p'kal they are just about the same size. What I love the most is if you compare this to the spyderco yojimbo which is a close comparison in blade shape the tip on the emerson is much thicker at and leading to the tip so it's much stronger and greatly enhances its “stabbiness” without fear of damaging it though I dont treat my nicer blades rough, I have a few I use and are treated as such the rest are for collecting. The action is smooth out of the box is truly gorgeous and as I break it in it'll only get better. Thanks for a fantastic knife!

I just received my MiniSeax on 11/10/21. Mine has the G10 black handle and the stonewashed blade. I had my knife drilled and tapped for left hand carry. I am right handed but it has a great feel in each hand. It opens and closes smoothly. The blade was extremely sharp. This knife could become one of my favorite EDC. The MiniSeax is a work horse. I carried many knives in my 41 years in law enforcement . Many of the other so called heavy duty knifes did not last long and had difficulty staying sharp. And many broke and end in the junk pill. Emerson knives are heavy duty easily cutting seat belts at vehicle crashes and many other uses. They are TOOLS. Thank you Mr. Emerson & Staff.

Perfect Emerson for my EDC needs. Richlite is a perfect pairing to make Emerson the only knife I carry. The grippy G10 for hunting or fishing, Richlite for everything else. Anyway Ricite scales could be offered for other models???

It's a …baby… Seax! Adorable is hardly the word for it; don't let it's size fool you, this is as capable a cutting tool as any. The smaller size offers a more discreet option for carrying your Viking spirit in a more casual context. The black Richlite scales are gorgeous, and add a feeling of luxury. As a bonus, Richlite is much easier on your pockets, making this a great option for lighter fabrics such as a pair slacks or soft cotton shorts.
    Skol!

The Mini Seax is my new go to EDC! It is the absolute perfect size and I just love the Seax style blade!
